Good Pails to Have

I was looking at this blog, momviews.net, and they are giving away a Good Pail to have!

The pails are super cute! Through March 31st, you can get free shipping on your order over $30. They have over 60 uses for the pails. I'm thinking I would use mine to hold rolled up flannel burp cloths. That way I could keep them out in livingroom. There are really cute patterns on the pails. What do you do when you don't want to scrap or visit the regular forums you hang out in, while in front of the computer? Here's what we do:

Rachel
I'm a gamer. I love playing games. Right now, my game choices are Zuma and Bookworm. I'm doing quite well, if I do say so myself! I also read a lot of blogs, too many of them, really!

Bethany
She checks out MSNBC. She is up to date on all of the news stories. I think she'd rather read the news than watch the news anchors. Who can blame her, afterall, isn't Anderson Cooper on CNN? I have seen Bethany play some of the trivia games. The other day, while at her house, we played two trivia games. It was pretty fun, but she usually knows the answers much quicker than I do. Surprisingly, she is very good at the eighties trivia (she wasn't even a teen or preteen during that time period)

We're sad to say we will be leaving the blog alone for a bit. We have decided that we need to step back and focus on our families. It's summer time so that means entertaining the kids and preparing them for the upcoming school year! We'll be absent from any message board/chat room we participated in also. We'll miss the friendships we have created, but we are sure you all can understand. We're not sure when we'll be back, afterall, family comes first!

I've decided that I need to leave crafting alone for awhile also. I really need to get my scrapbooking caught up for my kids first years, followed by every year after that! That's 13 years to catch up on! I almost have the third ones done and still haven't started the older two (which will be more of a challenge trying to remember dates and milestones - not to mention I'll be scanning in a lot of pics).

I've spent a lot of time on the message boards over at DAISIE Company. I loved that place, but it has taken a turn which I don't care for. But, I want to say a BIG Thank you to Nathan for all of his help he gave to me (as well as everyone else). I learned more from him about computers/hardware/etc than I ever thought I would, especially while on a crafty board! I appreciate the friendships I have made over there and hope to continue them outside of DAISIE. ~ Rachel

Men on the Beach Layouts

Hmm, maybe our little teaser yesterday was a bit misleading, ya think?! Nah, anyone that knows us well enough, would've expected this from us! But, for those who might be disappointed, we'll share a picture of men on the beach for you under our layouts!

Bethany chose our first set of photos to scrap with. They are of our two boys, Sammy and Quino at the beach. It's fun to see how we both take the pictures and put our own flair to a page.
